Clinics and Health
Every minute the receptionist spends with a patient is a minute of unanswered calls. A patient who cannot book rarely calls twice.
What it does on the phone
- Books appointments — against the practitioner's free time, written into the diary
- Separates practitioner and treatment — who, what procedure, how long
- Puts the call through — accounts, reception, the right practitioner
- Answers the usual questions — opening hours, location, parking, which payments are accepted
- Sends reminders — before the appointment, which brings the no-show rate down
What you see in the panel
- Patients
- In a clinic the records are called Patients — past appointments, treatments, notes
- Diary
- Availability, practitioner by practitioner
- Calls
- The recording, the summary and the transcript
- Cash
- Payments, outstanding balances, instalments
The lunch hour
In the hour the clinic is closed, seven calls arrive: five booking requests and two about opening hours. By the time the day resumes, five appointments are in the diary.
What the setup opens
Appointments, the service list, staff transfer, message taking and frequently asked questions.
Health data
Health data is a special category of personal data. Whether Almon can reach a patient's history is defined per channel and can be left disabled. The access model, the audit log and the retention terms are set out in full on the Security and Data page.
If your question is not answered here, ask us — we will talk it through on a demo call.
